Romana female of age 31 is suffering from Hodgkin disease in Kamra Gulberg town. While talking other she said “I came to know about my cancer disease in April. This was very shocking for me. I cried when I heard about it for the first time but my husband stands by me at every moment”.

Talking to the Dr. Mohammad Faheem at Abdullah clinic he explains the Hodgkin disease as “Hodgkin disease is a type of lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of a part of the immune system called the lymph system. The disease can spread to nearby lymph is most common in people between 20 and 40 years old.”
Cancer is called the deadliest disease in the world including Pakistan, where millions of people die of sickness. According to the world cancer report, in a year nearly 10 million people are infected by virus and in 2020, the disease patients will be 16 million and from them half of people will die. In Pakistan each year more than 300,000 people are being affected by this illness. According to Samaa report by experts Pakistan registers 148,000 new cases of cancer every year.

Mrs. Romana elaborate that “I was having fever and fatigue and swelling of neck and unexplained weight loss in early days after checkup in Abdullah clinic and tests at Dr. Samina laboratory i was diagnosed by Hodgkin disease. Now through regular chemotherapy I am recovering and feeling better and hopeful”.

Medicine and treatment of cancer is very expensive for the common person as the monthly wage of a common man in Pakistan is up to 30000. According to the patient she has to take chemotherapy after every fifteen days. one chemotherapy dose purchased by Mrs. Romana cost approximately 25000.

Meeting Mrs. Romana give us hope that the life is full of ups and down and the best is to fight with. Cancer is very dangerous disease by its name but these fighting hopeful people give us strength. Cancer
is recoverable disease the thing needed is to fight with the disease with strong inner will.
