Sikh army officer ties the knot

Web Desk: Major Hercharn Singh, the first Sikh officer to be commissioned in the Pakistan Army got married on Sunday at the Gurdwara Puja Sahib, Hasan Abdal.

A number of serving and retired officers of Pakistan Army attended the marriage ceremony.

According to a press release issued  by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army chief General Qamar Bajwa sent a message to Major Hercharn Singh extending good wishes for his married life.

Harchar Singh was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 2007.

Pakistan Army remains a symbol of national integration and respects the rights of religious minorities in Pakistan.
